The Claysburg Education Foundation is pleased to announce the following scholarships for graduating seniors.
Previously there were two scholarships available which were the Dively and Witherspoon Scholarships. For the 2024 graduates, the total amount to be awarded will be $11,500. These awards for 2024 are:
— The George S. Dively and Jennie Dively Gardner Scholarship at $1,000 annually for four years
— The Degol Donald Witherspoon Scholarship Award at $1,500
— The Levi H. Walter Scholarship at $1,000 each year one and $200 years two through four of college for two students
— Claysburg Area Community Bicentennial Scholarship at $800
— Jack D. Burkett — $1,000
— Darla Jean Burket — $1,000
The award will be made at Claysburg-Kimmel’s annual graduation based on the established criteria. Scholarship applications must be submitted by April 30 of each year.
